Workshops: the face-to-face component
Some College subjects require workshops to complete the practical requirements of subjects. Such subjects will have these workshop requirements noted within their subject details. College subjects currently requiring workshops are;

Myorthotics
Eye Diagnosis
Medical Herbalism
Professional Practice
Communication for Naturopaths

Benefits
Workshops have the benefit of:

improving the delivery of practical aspects of education
allowing interaction between the College staff, lecturers and other students
providing a more controlled delivery of training techniques

Timing
Students are seldom allowed to be enrolled in a workshop if they have had insufficient time to prepare for it.

Students intending to complete workshops MUST enrol early to either ensure their place or to avoid cancellation of a planned workshop due the College suspecting insufficient numbers are enrolled to conduct it.

Text Box: Workshops, for all subjects requiring them,
are normally conducted in capital cities throughout Australia on alternate years.
This normally provides students with enough opportunity to complete them over the 4 - 6 years they spend studying their award.
However, students are welcome and encouraged to travel interstate to complete workshops if they prefer
