Specially written for the
College this course is presented in the same format as Anatomy & Physiology
and is textbook based. As well as the textbook the student receives a
comprehensive guide full of exercises and revision questions. The course is
presented in an exciting new format. This subject is essential for all
natural therapists which is why, as one of the Health Science subjects, it
is a compulsory unit within
the Advanced Diploma.
Students who have no
background in the health sciences should not be deterred by this subject as
every topic is explained from basic principles. In the table below is an
indication of the topics covered, which takes one year of part-time external
study, although the student may alter this rate to suit their lifestyle and
commitments. The 30 modules require an average of 10 hours study each. They
are divided into three 10 week terms of 10 modules each term. This subject
must be completed within 12 months.
